Stede Flash has been doing commercial theatre for over two decades. He was first introduced to theatre by actor Ronald Goshop who was his drama tutor in high school. Stede’s first big break came in 1985 when he starred in Hyacinth Brown’s Boopsie and since then he had established himself as a masterful “character” actor based on his agility, manipulation of his body (particularly his face), and excellent vocal range. Stede is popularly known as ‘Jooky Jam’, which is one of the memorable characters he portrayed in the series Maama Man.

My kids.

I am a cook and a waiter by profession.

Acquiring real estate, a yacht and a plane.

I wish I was with my present girlfriend Christine from 10 years ago.

I love nature so I would go on a picnic where we could get close and roll around in the grass.

Flash Gordon.

Yes.

9. What is the best thing you have ever done for someone without being asked?
I like to donate blood.

10. Cornmeal pudding or black forest cake?
Cornmeal pudding.

11. What gets under your skin?
Hypocrites, parasites and backbiters.

12. How do you relieve stress?
Lyming with my friends under the mango tree at Green Gables.

My children and my sister.
