Area Youth Foundation (AYF), CVM-TV, CHASE Fund, Leonie Forbes and Majah Bless present ‘Pot o’ Gold’, a mystical, dramatical, comical musical showing December 6-27, 2009 at The Theatre Place, 8 Haining Road, New Kingston.
‘Pot o’ Gold’ is the AYF’s newest production showcasing the incredible talent and resilience of Jamaica’s youth. It is a musical comedy with a serious message for nation building. The production is a collective creation of the Foundation’s artistic team and young people, who are also the performers.
Leonie Forbes brings her extraordinary talent to the show, and has been generous in guiding and sharing her experience with the young cast.
Now in its thirteenth year, the AYF is able to attest the transformative power of the arts in the lives of the hundreds of young people of Kingston’s inner cities who have benefited from participation in its programmes.
Proceeds from this production will support AYF’s building fund and strengthen the organization’s capacity to serve our nation’s youth.
