The play “Cassandra” is a comedy/drama depicting the challenging life of 28 year old ‘Cassandra Martin’. You are taken into the chaotic world of a young woman who desperately wishes she had the will, strength and fortitude necessary to regain control of her depressing life.
With her life spiraling out of control, she tries her best to cope, but slowly succumbs to the influence of something of a different and unique nature, a very strong inner entity: her evil, sinister and utterly entertaining alter ego!
Alter Ego is a devious character who is merely a fiction of Cassandra’s imagination. However, as the play progresses, it becomes evident that although existing only in Cassandra’s mind, Alter Ego’s influence is very strong and she threatens to take complete control of Cassandra.
Cassandra is basically a good heart, but the alter ego is intent on destroying her good side. Cassandra tries to fight, but seems to be losing the battle.
