Theatre lovers in Jamaica couldn’t get enough of the #1 comedy play Bashment Granny 2, and Toronto, Canada was no different. 2-Lined Music Hut, in association with Black Koncepts Inc, will present Jamaica’s #1 comedy play, Bashment Granny 2, to the Toronto audience.
Written by Garfield Reid and directed by Michael Nicholson, the story line picks up where Bashment Granny 1 leaves off – a 12 million dollar mystery. Half-a-Dog, the owner of the 12 million wants his money, however Mr. Bashment and Shebada, the custodians of the money have no intentions of giving it back.
With Canadian debuts of Bashment Granny 2 on July 4 at the Double Tree Hotel on Dixie Road, and on July 5 at the Delta Hotel (at the 401), the cast and crew confirmed that they were excited to go to Toronto. Shebada, star of Bashment Granny 2 said, “Toronto, I’m coming, and I’m coming full force! Mi ah dash it pon dem!”
