St. Andrew High School will be buzzing with theatre goers over the next few weeks, as the much anticipated comedy/drama, Adrian Nelson’s DREAM MERCHANT, premiers on Thursday, December 18.
Following up on the success of the summer hit, Moon River, Adrian Nelson’s DREAM MERCHANT is another presentation of the ‘King of Comedy’ Oliver Samuels who is quite excited about this, his latest production.
“Moon River was good, but Dream Merchant is miles ahead with whole heap more laughter, more colourful characters and of course a very good message”, he said. “This is definitely a must see for the holidays”.
The play stars legendary actress, ‘Dancehall Queen’ Audrey Reid, Dorothy Cunningham, Ronald Goshop and Kedecia Stewart. Another veteran in the theatre circuit, Carol Lawes sits as Director with School of Drama head, Eugene Williams serving as Dramaturg.
DREAM MERCHANT is a play for the entire family, and is cleverly written to captivate everyone – from the roots play lovers to the uptown and even Christian audiences.
